Banana leaves for plates--Doug & Pete used the leaves for plates and ate with their hands but the rest of us remained Americanized!!!

Jen-It's good to be back... I'd say it's good to be home but I don't want to scare anyone! You really do feel so welcome here, and you know it's where you are suppose to be. I said when I was here in '97 how stunning the children are here, and nothing's changed. Pete had devotions the other morning and the verse he chose was Matthew 18:5- "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me.". This verse totally explains Good Shepherd Mission. Henry is completely open to God's will. He surrenders it all, and in his weakness God's grace gives him the strength to provide for so many. You can see the love of Jesus coming through in the faces and smiles of all the children here. Henry receives these children with open arms and in return he is blessed over and over again.

Henry and his grandson, Henry Samuel, Praveen and Anita's son.

[Jesus] took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. -Mark 10:16 (NIV)
